Yesterday our Donor Development Director, Greg Calvo, got the team together to plan for some big upcoming
PIU events, including Graduation on May 7th, and the 5K run and fund-raising barbecue on May 12th. Greg made sure the team was well-fed with a full spam
centered meal. Actually since Greg has come on-board at PIU we have enjoyed a lot of Chamorro food in the teachers’ lunch room. While chowing down on spam, pineapple, corn, rice, chili and Mountain Dew the team planned out the route for the 5k run and how they would set up the campus for the barbecue. If you can join us for any of these events we would love to see you there. English teacher, Joey Charles came into the room at the perfect time to share in the feast.
My life “Mission Verse” is Ezra 7.10, I believe God has given me a ministry of teaching the Bible wherever I go, in a way that relates it to the people around me, whoever they are. So I will share here what is going in my head, my life, my family, my challenges, my trials, my heart etc. I’ll try my best to do it openly and honestly and to share what God is saying to me through his word and all the other things in my life without holding anything back.
