Palauan Fellowship in Anchorage #2

One of the coolest things about attending these Palauan gatherings is being able to see so many of  our former students from Emmaus and Bethania high schools. SAMSUNGWe taught there from 1984 to 1988. This time was especially nice because, for the first time, Joyce was able to come and be part of it. She said, “now I know why you enjoy coming to these things so much!” It is so encouraging to hear the testimonies of our former students about how God has worked in their lives and how their time at Emmaus was so influential in who they would become. Back then I wasn’t sure they were listening, but they were and we are so privileged that God used us to have influence on their lives. Of course, there is also always a lot of laughing about pranks, games and other reminisces about how things were back then and a lot of joking about how fat and grey all the guys look. As John wrote, “It has given me great joy to find some of your children walking in the truth.” 2 John 2.
