The final day of our student retreat was last Saturday. The day began with breakfast as the students, and some staff, spent the night at the Lutheran Church on Friday. After the morning session we played games, met in groups and relaxed. The day ended with a barbecue. We did get some time to take our speaker, Rick Bee, to Chamorro Village where he was able to purchase the carved shark pictured to the right. Rick, we mailed it and it is on its way to you! My evaluation of the retreat this year was that it was a good time of rest and God-ward focus for the students and staff as we head toward the end of the semester. Nice job Nikki and Student Development staff and thank you to the Lutheran Church of Guam for providing their building and grounds to us!
The cooks made sure that breakfast was excellent
