Pacific Islands University has received ratification of reaffirmed status I from our accreditor, TRACS. The action of the
TRACS commission was announced on April 13, 2010 and was officially confirmed to us in a letter from TRACS which we received this past week. In the picture Delight Suda, the PIU Financial Aid Director and I are holding the official letter. This reaffirmation of accreditation is good for 10 years. We have some "in progress" items that we will be working on over the next few months as TRACS holds us accountable to maintain and improve the quality of the education experience provided at PIU. This was a lot of work for all the PIU family and we are thankful for everyone who prayed for us as we went through the process.

Thanks Howard. We do have to respond again on a progress report on August 15. Please be praying for Nino's visa. He is spearheading our assessment and accreditation response efforts and we need him doing that here instead of in the PI
