Last Monday Joyce and the students began the work of putting in a new garden at PIU. The garden is part of a grant funded community garden project at the University of Guam. This grant provides funds for food garden projects in several island communities, and PIU was chosen as one of those communities. I am excited about a project that involves the students in growing their own healthy food. Thank you to UOG professor, Phoebe Wall, for bringing this project to us. Also thank you to Brianna Gage (left) for providing us with the pictures.
