Yard Sale in Redding

Joyce and I are back in Shingle Springs after a few days with her family up in Redding. The purpose for this trip was to help her dad with a yard sale to help him get his house ready for sale and his upcoming move. Joyce and her sisters (with husbands) were all there all week to prepare for the sale and then oversee the sale on Friday and Saturday. We picked up Janet and Paul at the Sacramento airport on the way up on Tuesday and dropped them off on the way home on Sunday. It was basically five days of work all day – and then we had a little time in the evening for conversation and getting caught up. The sale went well. The house is a little more empty but we are thinking that we will need to do it again soon before the house sells and he needs to move.
