PIU Days 2–Team Sky

SAMSUNG The Friday evening program featured Team Sky. The presentation was a unified three part skit with a “before and after” motif that compared the students’ attitudes about God and life sandwiched around a SAMSUNG TV interview with various “experts” that discussed the meaning of Psalm 36. The point was that God’s love, righteousness and justice are the superior way to live and that the Psalm calls us to make a decision about that. We can choose the path of wickedness or God’s righteous path. It is up to each one of us.

PIU Days 2–Field Day

SAMSUNG PIU Days Filed Day (6)The 2nd day of PIU Days is, traditionally “field day.” So we headed over to the Bayview Church field (thank you to our friends at Bayview who allowed us to use the field and even mowed it for us the day before) for a day of races, games and fun in the sun. The teams competed hard, enjoyed Jamaican Grill for lunch, played some Wacky games along with the traditional races and came back to PIU a little sunburned, tired and dehydrated. But everyone had a good time. There were also afternoon basketball and volleyball games before the evening program.

Even Billy Edwin had some trouble with the chocolate muffin. But, as you can see, only the wrappers remained in the end.
