PIU Days #2 – Saints Day

The second day of the PIU Days celebration began with the field events at Bayview Baptist Church. This is one of the most beautiful spots on Guam and we enjoyed the amazing view of Agana Bay all day as we watched the events. The evening program was led by the Saints team. They did a great job, even though I missed a lot of the fellowship to watch the grandkids (Mike and Samantha are on the Saints team). The score after two days Angels 254, Lions 204, Saints 182.

The 60 and 100 yard dash events were hotly contested

The kids’ race was also a close one

The egg toss ended with broken dreams of victory

The “dizzy relay race” is a tradition at PIU Days and is pretty funny to watch.

The tug’o’war was an epic battle this year between the Saints and Lions

In the evening the Saints set up for their fellowship service

The ladies were on time and ready to go. But where were the guys?

Kita started things off and then the “saints came marchin’ in.”

Josh shared a “questionable” devotion complete with an illustration of Divine judgment before the Saints sang a group song.

The audience enjoyed the singing and the skit

Josh and DY got the crowd going with a “saints rap”

I missed the rest of the program so that was all the pictures I took.
