PIU Days 2–Team Sky

The Friday evening program featured Team Sky. The presentation was a unified three part skit with a “before and after” motif that compared the students’ attitudes about God and life sandwiched around a TV interview with various “experts” that discussed the meaning of Psalm 36. The point was that God’s love, righteousness and justice are the superior way to live and that the Psalm calls us to make a decision about that. We can choose the path of wickedness or God’s righteous path. It is up to each one of us.

Mayson performed an original poem, Addie sang her original song and Steven impersonated Mike Owen

Act 2 featured an interview with the author of Psalm 36, Mr. Wickedy Wicked, King David

… And Prof Mike Owen. Then there was a group song

Act 3 featured all the students reflecting on the meaning and application of the Psalm in their dorms

After the program we headed out to the pavilion for snacks
