Joyful Noise Music Festival

SAMSUNG The Joyful Noise Music Festival last Sunday night was a tremendous blessing to me, the entire PIU family and to churches represented by the Guam Ministerial Association. With the tragedy we have been facing, it was so good for all of us, students, staff and faculty, to get out and be blessed by our brothers and sisters in the Guam church community. As one PIU student SAMSUNG put it, “We Micronesians sing to each other when we need comfort. Tonight we need to let someone sing to us.” It was a blessing to hear 600 people singing praises in Chamorro, Korean, Chinese, Chuukese, Palauan, Tagalog, Spanish, Marshallese, and, even, English. And then we got pie and ice cream! Thank you GMA and Guam church community for a wonderful evening. Thank you Abundant Life Church for hosting and thank you Samantha for organizing the event. A wonderful night!
