An Evening at the Lake

Joyce and I drove down to Scotts Valley last night (Thursday) but we spent our last evening in Redding (Wednesday) having a leisurely dinner on a boat on Whiskeytown Lake. Joyce’s sister Judy and her husband Wayne own a boat and live only a few miles from the lake so we headed out there about 5 PM and stayed until well after sundown. It was very relaxing to sit on the boat, munch a sandwich, take a refreshing swim and then watch the sun go down before we sped around the lake. It was a great way to cap our time in Redding. The picture above is my view from the cove where we swam and ate our sandwiches.
