I have not posted too much lately. I have been quite busy with the end of the semester activities and taking lots of pictures. So now I am ready to post them. Our semester ended with graduation on Saturday May 2nd. However, the final week of the semester began with the Faculty Appreciation Dinner on Sunday night at the Sheraton Hotel. It is always a night that is fun and sad at the same time as we celebrate the accomplishments of another year, but also say goodbye to the faculty and staff that will be leaving us. We ended the evening with a group picture. It is likely we will never see this exact group together ever again, but we are thankful for what God accomplished through us. We are very blessed to have such a good group of people to work with.
We said goodbye to Daisy Murdock and Sarah Brubaker. Daisy has been with PIU for 7 years and Sarah for 5. We pray God’s blessings on them as they return to the US Mainland
There were awards and gifts for all the faculty and staff. Thank you so much to our vendors and board members who donated gifts to honor our PIU employees. Mike and Samantha did a good job as the MC’s for the event.
