Rainy season is now here in abundance. This means more mowing (for Joyce – she insists that mowing lawns is her therapy) and more allergies for me. It also means that our yard gets colorful again after a couple months of everything being brown. I guess one blessing of living in the tropics is the, pretty much, year-round beautiful colors of creation. The recent dry spell reminds us of how good we usually have things here. The flowers above are paralleling our driveway on one side. Another blessing is that our calamansi tree, that was uprooted and tossed by last year’s typhoon, is bearing (a little) fruit again (right). Joyce took good care of that tree and her work has paid off. So here are a few pictures I took in our yard yesterday.
The flower bed in the front yard is going wild with both wanted and unwanted flora
My drive into the carport is pretty much lined with flowers
