Last Sunday I had the opportunity to preach at the Guam Chinese Christian Church. We have had a few students at PIU from the church before, but I have never been invited to preach there. It is a small church but there was a lot of enthusiasm. All of the songs were sung in
Chinese but I recognized a few of them. My sermon (on Genesis 1.26-28) was translated into Chinese by a professor from the University of Guam. I enjoyed getting to meet new people and I am hoping that this will be the beginning of a good partnership that will help both if us be better able to minister to Guam’s Chinese community.
My life “Mission Verse” is Ezra 7.10, I believe God has given me a ministry of teaching the Bible wherever I go, in a way that relates it to the people around me, whoever they are. So I will share here what is going in my head, my life, my family, my challenges, my trials, my heart etc. I’ll try my best to do it openly and honestly and to share what God is saying to me through his word and all the other things in my life without holding anything back.
