As I mentioned in my last post, our last church presentation of this trip was at Hessel Church in Sebastopol California. Hessel Church was founded by Joyce’s uncle Ron and is now pastored by her cousin Rich Cundall (left). From the picture here you can clearly see the family resemblance, although Joyce did not get the “tall gene.” Joyce and I were interviewed by fellow Biola alum Pastor Andy Sodestrom in both services and spoke in a small group on Sunday, and then at the men’s prayer breakfast on Tuesday. It was such an encouragement to see
people there who know about the ministry at PIU and are so supportive of what God is doing in Micronesia. It is a bonus that we get to see family there too. So now we are packing to head back to Guam tomorrow. The new school year is about to start.
My life “Mission Verse” is Ezra 7.10, I believe God has given me a ministry of teaching the Bible wherever I go, in a way that relates it to the people around me, whoever they are. So I will share here what is going in my head, my life, my family, my challenges, my trials, my heart etc. I’ll try my best to do it openly and honestly and to share what God is saying to me through his word and all the other things in my life without holding anything back.
