Last Saturday was family outing day. We all piled into two vehicles and went to Whiskeytown Lake , just a few miles outside Redding for some water sports and relaxation. Wayne ferried us out to our own little island in his boat and we spent the day swimming, wakeboarding and, especially for me, kicking back and relaxing out in nature. Missy, pictured, and the younger family members pursued the more athletic endeavors. After a full afternoon at the lake we headed back to Wayne and Judy’s house, picked up some Round Table pizza (One of the foods I greatly miss living on Guam) and enjoyed the evening with the family.
We are thankful that Joyce’s dad is doing better. Note the four generations picture above right. It is not hard to see the family resemblance here is it?
