Working at a college we get invited to a lot of weddings. Pretty much every year there is a wedding right after, or at least soon after, graduation. We have posted pictures of a few of them on this blog. But last Saturday was a first for PIU, as far as I know. We have had a couple wedding receptions on campus, but we have never had the ceremony and all the festivities on campus before. PIU grad Davy Welle and current undergrad student Nainoth Roby said their vows to each other on Saturday and the entire PIU family celebrated with them. We are so blessed to see students handle their relationships in a Christ-like way and begin Christian families. Here a few, uh no, many pictures.
My grandson Titus was the ring-bearer and the Choram girls were the flower girls.
The wedding party looked sharp
The kids did a great job with the rings and flowers
The bride was beautiful
The attendants took their place on the stage
The vows were spoken
The rings were exchanged
“Ladies and Gentlemen, I present Mr. and Mrs. Davy Welle”
Family pictures with the bride and groom
The Owen’s celebrate and enjoy the afternoon
