Last weekend, after spending Saturday afternoon at LCG for the alumni barbecue, we attended two more events there on Sunday. Sunday morning service there on January 31 featured the PIU students as special music and PIU prof Mike Owen as the speaker. Mike preached on Jeremiah chapter one and the students sang a couple songs. We always have a good time of fellowship there when we go. That evening we attended a wedding reception for PIU alum Doug O’Meara and Lindsey. Again it was another fun time to gather with friends from LCG and many others from PIU and the island community.
The students did a great job singing. I tried to get a picture of the amazing view of the bay through the windows of the church, but I guess you’ll just have to just go there to see it
