Ministry in Redding and Ashland, Oregon

After the VOM tour was over Joyce and I headed up to Redding, California to speak at two churches there and at Ashland Bible Church in Oregon. We spoke at Westside Church on the morning of July 25th and at Ashland Bible Church in the evening. I don't know what we were thinking but we forgot to take any pictures at either place. We then spent a week down in Santa Cruz and returned to Redding on August 1st to speak at 1st Baptist of Redding. It was great to see our old friends at 1st Baptist and in Ashland. Both churches have been part of our support team for many years. We were also glad to make new friends at Westside (Joyce's sister Judy and brother-in-law Wayne attend there) and hope to be back there again. With Joyce's parents living in Redding now, along with her sister and family, we have a lot of reasons to go there when we are on the Mainland.
Joyce enjoyed spending some time at her mom and dad's house
Joyce enjoyed the gardens. We also had plenty of peaches to eat
1st Baptist Redding had an International Missions Lunch for us after the service. Guam was represented by a table of tropical fruit. I especially enjoyed the Mexico and China table
We also made several new friends at the luncheon

Joyce had to take a picture of the dog in its travel case
It is always nice to get to spend some time with family. We really appreciate how much our families support what we are doing on Guam. Not all missionaries have the blessing of families that fully support the work. We are so blessed
