February Events - Liebenzell Micronesia Meetings

Usually during the PIU board meetings, since we have so many of the global Liebenzell missionary representatives here, we also have a meeting of the Liebenzell missionaries who are working in Micronesia. At this point in time almost all the LM missionaries in Micronesia are working at PIU, but we need to get together to talk over mission business, hear how Liebenzell's other fields are doing and enjoy fellowship with one another. This year we held the meeting at the Wood's home on Tuesday evening, enjoyed their beautiful view and opportunity to talk and relax together.

With the global missions leadership here (Bill Schuit and Martin Auch pictured) we also wanted to use the time for a mission leadership meeting. So we met Monday and Tuesday morning at my house to go over several pressing issues. One of the biggest agenda items was the discussion of ideas for partnership between Liebenzell, PIU and the Micronesian churches to send out missionaries to unreached areas. There is a lot of enthusiasm for this from all parties and we are excited about the possibilities of seeing Liebenzell help to send out Micronesian missionaries all over the world.

Marcellus Ngiraingas, Rob Watt, Hartmut Scherer and Harald Gorges enjoy some conversation.

Steve Bradley and I discuss a heavy theological topic - it might have been NFL football

We did have a pretty relaxing evening.
