PIU Days “Legacy” Chapel

SAMSUNGThis week is our annual “PIU Days” week. PIU Days is a 3 day celebration of what God has done through PIU (PIBC and MIBS) in its 38 years of serving the islands with Christian higher education. The big celebration will begin today with athletics, dancing, singing, fellowship and worship. But, we actually started with chapel on Tuesday with the annual “History of PIU/PIBC/MIBS” chapel. After some fun singing (See below) we got some of the PIU old-timers up in front of the chapel to tell stories about how the school came to be and how God worked through the school in the past. So this year Bill Wood, Iotaka Choram and I had the opportunity to talk about how we came to PIU and how we have seen the hand of God on PIU in the past. There were also several funny stories told. There was a lot of laughter and it was good to be reminded of God’s gracious oversight of our school.
