The 38th annual PIU Days began on Friday with a student-led prayer chapel led by StuCo President Scott Refilong. The purpose of the chapel was to start the celebration of the 38th year of our school’s existence with prayer and then to give each team some time for last minute planning for their programs. Hmm, prayer and planning just like Nehemiah! We had a good time of concentrated corporate prayer. This year our theme for PIU Days is built around Psalm 36 with Team Sky representing God’s love that extends into the heavens, Team Mighty Mountains for God’s righteousness that is like the mountains of God, and Team Tehom, the Depths of the Sea, which is like God’s just judgments.
There was some fellowship time
Then it was a blessing to enter into prayer with the students
