Even though it does not snow here on Guam, except inside the malls at specific times, we get into the Christmas spirit. The Christmas season seems to officially begin, not counting when the Christmas decorations get put up at Kmart and Home Depot in October, when Santa comes riding in on a carabao at Ypao park with dancing and a Christmas concert. So Joyce took the grandkids down to see it on Sunday December 7th. We also picked up a real Christmas tree last Saturday and decorated it in preparation for the arrival of Matt and his family this coming Sunday. To me, the Christmas season began with our Advent chapel on December 5, but either way, it is Christmas season on Guam.
Titus was excited to win the raffle prize at the concert. Serenity and Gwen play with the ipad
Serenity does not miss her opportunity to dance with one of the local dancers
Courage chooses her own music and then dances
My contribution was an adjustment to the Christmas story – just kidding
We all worked hard decorating the tree
And then relaxed a little
