Every year the last chapel of the PIU Fall semester is the PIU Christmas chapel. As Mike pointed out, since it is not Christmas yet, it is actually an Advent chapel. As a school we all participate in focusing on the most important event in world history – the entrance of the Creator into the world to become one of us and complete the kingdom task. We celebrated with song, scripture reading and fellowship. It was a great climax to a good semester of chapels.
We had a wide variety of Christmas music
The 4 candles were lit with the appropriate readings
Many students, staff and faculty participated in the program
Michael’s power point slides enhanced the worship experience
And afterwards, group pictures around the advent candles or in front of the Christmas tree
