This was another busy, but fun, weekend. The big event was the wedding of one of our PIU students, Jeehbeneth on Saturday. There was a good group of PIU students, faculty and staff there to witness the vows of a fellow PIU family member. I especially enjoyed the self-written vows that Jeeh and Bryan made. They reflected deep commitment to Christ and were somewhat poetic as well. Both of them have dedicated their lives to ministry and we look forward to see what God has in store for them. Jeeh and Bryan, we are praying for God’s blessings on your marriage. Also, I had never seen a groom carry his bride out of the church before.
Here is another wedding picture from the back row. Here is part of the PIU team that was sitting in the back rows.
Later I took the girls to see the movie Minions at the Micronesia Mall. I thought it was hilarious and I especially appreciated the 60’s music soundtrack. Courage and Serenity laughed, danced and bounced all the way through the movie. After the movie we hit the arcade while we waited for Mike, Sam and Titus to meet us. Please don’t tell the girls that we didn’t put any tokens in the machines. They thought they were really playing.
Here are a couple more from the mall. We ended the weekend with a late Sunday afternoon lunch at the Outback Restaurant. Courage really likes the bread.
