On Wednesday the 17th the fellowship moved from the camp down to University Baptist Church in Anchorage. The pastor of this church, Jeff Anderson, and the people of the church have welcomed the Palauan group and they have become an important part of the fellowship. The next four days were then focused on worship, teaching, fellowship and lots of eating. Eric and Karyn Sorenson joined us on Wednesday evening and then Pastor Andrew Immanuel (of the Palauan Evangelical Church Guam) and Joyce joined us on Thursday. Again, it was an encouraging time for all of us and a great opportunity to network with the Palauan leadership and people interested in kingdom work in Micronesia. Above are group pics we took after the final service of the event.
I worked on recruiting new students and teachers for PIU.
Each of the Palauan groups performed some songs for the fellowship. On the left is the Houston group and the Anchorage group is on the right.
We heard a lot of good preaching and teaching too.
